Still Looking at the Sky

“Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven” —Acts 1:11 (NAB)

Almost two thousand years have passed since that day on the Mount of Olives, and we still look for Jesus in the sky. In looking up, we miss him here among us.

Something to reflect on this Ascension Day and every other day as well.
