Anna in a pretty dress for Picture Day

“I’m ready for Spring! How about you?”

Writer and blogger Elizabeth Esther is sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, so she’s trying something different:

I woke up this morning with an idea. This–right here, right now–is the best time for me to implement a happiness plan. Why? Because I am in thick of unhappy circumstances. In order for happiness to be real, it needs to withstand the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, yes?

So. I have a plan. It’s called: 31 Days 2 Happy!

Who wants to join me? :)

I could have used something like this three years ago: 2009 was a terrible year for a lot of people. Things have gotten better for us since then, but the worry and the stress never completely go away. That’s part of living life, unless you’re independently wealthy.

So I’m in. Today is Day One, and Elizabeth’s “Happy Homework” for the day is to smile. Anna’s got a head start. The picture above is of her all ready for Spring Picture Day at her school. If that isn’t enough to put a smile on your face, how about this:

No matter what else is going on, she can always make us smile.

This is a great way to bond with the family and realize that not everything in life is perfect but we have to make those little things in life feel more special. Great that you’ve started with this 😉 So how has the 2 weeks been?
